Replacing an old torch down 1:12 roof. Most contractors that have bid have offered EPDM or torch down. (EPDM was my initial plan)
However, one reputable roofer only works with a product called Flex Membrane, which looks to be a PVC product.
Anyone have any experience with it?
The assembly plan is: Roof membrane, 5″ISO, air barrier, deck, R25 fiberglass snug to deck, vapor barrier drywall. Zone 5.
Wooded lot. There will be occasional sticks falling in the roof.
