Air Source Heat Pumps and HRV

bgcall | Posted in General Questions on

I’m planning my first build. We need about 3 tons of heating and cooling. I’m interested in using 3 mini splits, 9k btu head in master, 18k btu head in living/kitchen, 12k btu head in basement living area. My concern is that rooms without a head unit will have a large temperature difference. Will adding an HRV mitigate the temperature differences between room?

I think you’re on your way to ducting this house, so I think it’s worth doing that for the heat pump.
