After improvement, equivalent leakage area is worse but ACH50 is better

Veronik7 | Posted in Energy Efficiency and Durability on

Hi everyone,
First question on this forum. I could months ago, I did an after home improvement air leakage test. The client had done some good work to reduce leakage in is home. When I looked at the number, the result at ACH50 was better then the first time, but the EqLA was bigger.
How can this be possible ?
Thank you !

It is possible to have better results at higher pressure (50 pascals) and worse results at lower pressure (10 pascals where EqLA is derived). Or could just be noise in the measurements.
