Advise for Southern Colorado Energy Assessor / Energy Star Certification

rkymtnoffgrd | Posted in General Questions on

I have just finished the Framing/Sheathing/Roofing my “Pretty Good House” and am considering going the extra mile for a full Energy Star rating.  From the reasearch Ive done on the Energy Star site, I believe I meet all the critera, but Im going to need to get a professional assessor onboard ASAP if its going to happen.  Has anyone in the Southern Colorado area been through the entire process?  I would love to hear expericences about the auditor, the process, and the value gained.  Thanks.  Chris

Hello! Looks like you never got any replies on this question. I came looking for similar answers today -- is doing the Energy Star certification worthwhile? I'm in Virginia and working on a small multifamily (4 units), so it would be Multifamily New Construction program for me.
