5/8″ boards for fascia?

Some of my fascia and barge boards are in bad shape and need replacing. Since I am also residing my home (with Accoya) and will have quite a bit left over, I am considering using it to replace the fascia and barge boards also. The only issue I see is that siding is 5/8″ thick, rather than the 3/4″ of the current fasica.  Is there any problem using 5/8″ boards for this (as long as they’re not next to any 3/4″ boards)?
