At age ten, Tom Meehan got his first taste of tile work, mixing mud for his father, a professional tile man. Almost fifty years later, Tom himself is now a master of tile. Tom and his wife Lane are co-owners of Cape Cod Tile Works in Harwich, Massachusetts. The couple co-wrote a book for Taunton Press in 2005, Working with Tile. Tom has written on all things tile-related for Fine Homebuilding since 1991.
