Donald Trump’s Song
Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the new AC is delightful,
I’ll tell you what I’ve always felt:
Let it melt! Let it melt! Let it melt!
Polar bears these days are thinking
That the ice cap seems to be shrinking,
I’ll tell you what I’ve always felt:
Let it melt! Let it melt! Let it melt!
The heat shows no signs of stopping,
And the corn in the fields is popping,
I’ll tell you what I’ve always felt:
Let it melt! Let it melt! Let it melt!
We expect a most wild ride,
Because it’s so hot outside,
I’ll tell you what I’ve always felt:
Let it melt! Let it melt! Let it melt!
I’m Dreaming of a Cold Christmas
I’m dreaming of a cold Christmas
Just like the ones we used to know,
With pies on the table
And a climate that’s stable
And snowmen made of real snow.
I’m dreaming of a cold Christmas
Just like the ones in years gone by,
With fewer forest fires,
And leaders who weren’t liars,
When warm weather didn’t make us cry.
I’m dreaming of a cold Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
With temps (please!) in a normal range —
And no threat of rapid climate change.
Donald Trump Is Coming To Town
You better watch out
You folks at DOE,
You better not pout,
Because, you’ll see:
Donald Trump is coming to town.
He’s making a list
And checking it twice;
He’s gonna find out
Who’s naughty or nice:
Donald Trump is coming to town.
You’re thinking of retiring? And how you want to time it? Well, Trump will soon be firing…

These are great
How about one called "it's beginning to look apocalyptic" to the tune of "it's beginning to look a lot like christmas"?
Martin
There must be times when you look at how with a change in policy, what seems like encouraging progress in the way we use energy gets reversed - the small gains perhaps dwarfed by some larger developments.
There are probably other times when you can barely bring yourself to answer questions here that you have dealt with over and over again, trapped in a Groundhog Day sequence of endless repetition.
I hope you sometimes take a moment to step back and think about how your writings, and your patient answers have affected innumerable projects for the better. I'd just like to express my appreciation to you, and the other GBA posters who provide help here. Best of the season to you all.

Malcolm,
Thanks very much for your kind words. Each new question posted at GBA is a brand new question for the person asking it, and I try to address it with that fact in mind. (That said, your reference to Groundhog Day made me smile.)
